About Me

Since a young age, I have loved animals and had a desire to help them. Growing up I knew I wanted my career to reflect this however, I wasn’t sure exactly how. At the age of 14 I started volunteering at my local riding school and learning all that I could about equine care and truly fell in love with horses. As a result, I found a share horse of my own to continue to learn and grow with, Cassie. She eventually became my very first pony and taught me so much. It was through working closely with her sports massage therapist to help improve her posture, strength, and performance that I discovered the career path I knew I had to follow. I began researching animal physiotherapists and became set on becoming an animal musculoskeletal practitioner. I went on to gain further experience with animals by working as a freelance groom with a variety of horses and as a kennel hand at a boarding and rescue kennels.

In 2021 I graduated from Writtle University College with a first class BSc (Hons) degree in Equine Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation. From here I began my career as an equine sports massage therapist however, I wanted to be able to provide more holistic treatments and also work with dogs and other animals again so I went on to gain my MSc in Animal Manipulation (Chiropractic) from the McTimoney College of Chiropractic.

Throughout my education I’ve been lucky enough to have the continued support and help of my animal companions, Cassie, Amber, Buster, and Beetle. Despite Beetle sadly being the only companion still with me, I’ll be forever grateful to them all. Cassie and Buster, who inspired and helped me the most on my journey, now have a special place within my business as they the inspiration for my logo.
